“SEW IN STYLE” is a start up unit for inhouse manufacturing of innovative, contemporary and wearable trendy dresses, suits, salwars etc. by skilled tailors in variable latest designs, in the eastern region. It started operations with a small outlet store in January 2021. We needed to offer enhanced shopping backgrounds and inventive motivation and associate with those with a similar vision. Today our objective continues as before.
In 2022, we opened the ways to our leader store at “Pranami Building” New Alipore, 15 Mondal Temple Road, Kolkata – 700053.
Clothing recycling is part of textile recycling. It involves recovering old clothing and shoes for sorting and processing to eventually create clothing suitable for reuse, cloth scraps, rags, or other repurposed fibrous materials.
As a women entrepreneur my first target is sustainable fashion by recycling hygienically and presenting to the customer end, for which, we are very conscious about our purchases and we often wonder how to make the latest designs of clothing and pass on a “manageable’ cost to the end consumer.
We collect articles, handcrafts, different types of art from across the country and present to our customers by customizing them. Not only that, we focus on manufacturing all those official, semi-official, casual, semi-casual (premium quality) quality materials, which are required for day to day use. Among which, the item of materials that we often keep in stock in our store, as *Handloom Saree & Suit, Stitched/Unstitched Suits & Pieces, *Banarasi, Chikankari, Ajrak, * Bandhani, Applique, Co-ord set, Indo Western Gown etc. All types of stitching, customizing, drying, embroidering etc. arrangements of set up starting from scratch are here together, where customers can come and directly interact with the artisans, because there is nothing to hide here.
The Owner/Proprietor of this organization is young energetic dynamic hard worker first generation women entrepreneur Mrs. Rajani Kedia Ghosh who has 20 years experience in packaging and paper mill business, as she has been directly associated with these businesses for a long time. She also has got several awards for her major achievement in the packaging business, out of which she is one of the National Award winners as young women entrepreneur of 2007.
